Karae [Cape] - Karae

The Hawaiian Islands are the eight main islands of the archipelago. The southern tip of Hawaii Island is at 18°56′ north latitude, making it the southernmost point of the United States. The eight islands are volcanic, and the southernmost are the newest. Mauna Loa and Kilauea on Hawaii Island are famous as active volcanoes.
