The central settlement of Rebun Town on the east coast of Rebun Island in northern Hokkaido. It is the gateway to the island, where ferries depart and arrive from Rishiri Island and Wakkanai, and is the base for coastal fishing. Regular buses run to Funadomari and Sukotonmisaki in the north of the island, Shiretoko in the south, and Motochi on the west coast.
