Sensuke Kasanui

...The play is commonly known as "Sendai-hagi" or "Kasane of Selling Oneself." It was co-written by Sakurada Jisuke I and Kasanui Sensuke. It was first performed at the Nakamuraza Theater in Edo in the leap year of July 1778 (7th year of An'ei).
