Folding (bookbinding) - Ori

...It is the process of gathering sheets of paper in the correct order to make a book. Specifically, it refers to folding the sheets in page order to make quires, arranging them in the correct order (collating), binding them, attaching a cover, and decorating the front and spine. Bookbinding is broadly divided into Japanese-style books (watoji) and Western-style books (yotoji), but today almost exclusively the latter is used, and the term "bookbinding" generally means Western-style books (Figure 1).
