This room is said to have been located at the north end of the west side of Seiryoden in the Heian Palace. It was a room for ladies-in-waiting who served the nearby Goyuden. It was sometimes simply called Goyuden. The Goyuden Jouninki is a diary of duties written by ladies-in-waiting on duty, and extant records date from 1477 to 1826.
