This room is said to have been located at the north end of the west side of Seiryoden in the Heian Palace. It was a room for ladies-in-waiting who served the nearby Goyuden. It was sometimes simply called Goyuden. The Goyuden Jouninki is a diary of duties written by ladies-in-waiting on duty, and extant records date from 1477 to 1826. 平安宮内裏(だいり)の清涼殿の西側北端にあったとされる部屋。近くの御湯殿に奉仕する女官の詰所。単に御湯殿と呼ぶ場合もあった。《御湯殿上日記》は女官が当番で記した職掌日記で，1477年から1826年までが伝存。内裏内側からの宮廷生活の記録。
