Oyamanosho

Japanese: 小山荘 - おやまのしょう

A manor centered in Tsuga County, Shimotsuke Province, and extending into Samukawa County. It covers the area from present-day Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture to Shimotsuga County. Oyama Manor was established when the Oyama clan, the development lord, donated his private land to Emperor Goshirakawa. In 1166, Emperor Goshirakawa donated Oyama Manor to Ise Shrine to provide paper for sacred offerings, and Samukawa no Mikuriya was established. In 1213, it became Ichien Shrine's territory, but the Oyama clan retained the position of land steward. The area was 180 cho. In addition to 360 sheets of paper, silk and white cloth were to be donated to Ise Shrine.

下野国都賀(つが)郡を中心に寒川(さむかわ)郡にも及んだ荘園。現栃木県小山市付近から下都賀郡にかけた地域にあたる。開発領主小山氏が私領を後白河院に寄進して小山荘が成立。1166年，後白河院は御幣用の料紙を供進(ぐしん)するため伊勢神宮に小山荘を寄進して寒河御厨(さむかわのみくりや)が成立した。1213年には一円神領となったが，地頭職は小山氏が保持。面積180町。伊勢神宮へは紙360帖のほか絹や白布などを納めることになっていた。
