Distal tubule

This refers to the distal part of the nephron, i.e. the part of the tubule farthest from the glomerulus. The tubule is divided into the proximal part that descends towards the renal medulla and the distal part that curves and ascends, and the ascending part is the ascending part. It is where the absorption of water and sodium is regulated, where antidiuretic hormone (ADH) acts, and where the exchange of H + and K + also takes place. ネフロンの遠位側すなわち糸球体からみて遠い方の尿細管の部分をいう．尿細管が腎髄質の方へ下行する近位部と屈曲して上行する遠位部に分けて，上行部分．水やナトリウム吸収の調節，抗利尿ホルモン (ADH) が作用する場であり，H＋とK＋の交換も行われる．
