Seijuro Emori
1900-1983 A filmmaker from the Showa era.
Born on November 25, 1900. Joined Nikkatsu in 1929. Became executive in charge of production in 1953. He nurtured Yujiro Ishihara and Ruriko Asaoka, and appointed Shohei Imamura and Kiriro Urayama as directors. Died on December 21, 1983. Age 83. Born in Fukui Prefecture. Graduated from Meiji University.
