Pavese and publisher Giulio Einaudi (1912-), and Gobetti was one of Monti's students. Gobetti died young in exile in Paris, but many literary figures from Piedmont, including the poet E. Montale, participated in the magazine "Baletti" (1924-28), which he founded. ...
