…In 1926, he became executive director and later representative director of the Greater Japan Academy of Management when it was founded. His research fields were wide-ranging, and he paved the way for research on the Industrial Revolution in Japan with “A History of the Industrial Revolution in Britain” (1923), studied social issues with “Social Reform and Enterprise” (1922), and later conducted extensive research on labor issues, population issues, and small and medium-sized enterprises. From 1926 to 1928, he founded and presided over the magazine “Enterprise and Society,” advocated his own version of “neoliberalism,” and attended many international conferences, including the first ILO conference (1919), where he published his views. …
