Unmon sect - Unmonshu
〘Noun〙 Buddhist term. One of the Five Houses and Seven Schools of Zen. Its founder was Unmon Bun'en of the Five Dynasties at the end of the Tang Dynasty in China. It continued for about 200 years after its founder, but fell into decline at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty and was not introduced to Japan. Unmon. ※Kobun Shinpo Shounsho (1525) 1 "There is a man in the Unmon sect who goes by the name of Nissho Sonofu."
