Yun-ju-si (English name)

Japanese: 雲居寺 - うんごじ（英語表記）Yun-ju-si

A Buddhist temple in Fangshan County, Beijing, China. It is sometimes confused with a temple of the same name in nearby Taku County, which has a Liao-dynasty octagonal six-story brick tower, but it is a different temple. It has many stone towers from the Tang dynasty and relics from the Liao dynasty, and is particularly famous for its stone sutras that were made by the Sui dynasty monk Seien and carved over the next five centuries into the Tripitaka in preparation for the end of the Dharma. Two large brick towers from the Liao dynasty stand on either the north or south side of the cave that houses the stone sutras.

中国，北京市房山県の仏寺。近くのたく県にある遼代の八角六層塼塔 (せんとう) をもつ同名寺院と混同されることもあるが別の寺院。唐代の石塔，遼代の遺物を多く残し，ことに隋代に静えん法師が発願し，のち5世紀余をかけて大蔵経を刻んで法滅にそなえた石経を所蔵していることで著名。石経を収蔵する石窟の上に遼代の二大塼塔が南北に建っている。
