The Ten Chapters of Uji

Japanese: 宇治十帖 - うじじゅうじょう
The Ten Chapters of Uji

This is the collective name for the last ten chapters of "The Tale of Genji," including "Hashihime," "Shiigamoto," "Agemaki," "Early Fern," "Yadorigi," "Azumaya," "Ukifune," "Dragonfly," "Tenarai," and "Yume no Ukihashi." The story recounts the negotiations between the protagonist, General Kaoru, and the daughters of Uji's Eighth Prince, Okimi and Nakanokimi, as well as Ukifune, and is named after the fact that the story is set mainly in Uji.
