Imagireguchi - Imagireguchi

...It used to be a freshwater lake separated from the Enshu Nada Sea by a sandbar, and was called Totsuoumi in contrast to Lake Biwa in Omi Province. The lake is divided by the Osaki Peninsula, which stretches southwest from the north of the lake, the Murakushi Peninsula, Lake Inohana in the northwest, Inasa Hosoe in the northeast, Lake Shonai in the east, and many inlets such as Matsumigaura and Uchiura, and connects to the Enshu Nada Sea at Imagireguchi in the south. The Miyakoda River flows into the lake from the northeast, and the Shinkawa River flows into the lake from the southeast.
