Born on July 24, 1917. Studied under Hirao Kishio. In 1955, formed the "Roba-no-Kai" (Roba Society) with Onaka Megumi and others. Composed children's songs and choral music. Conducted the Froebel Boys' Choir and presided over the Isobe Toshi Men's Choir. Died on November 25, 1998. Age 81. Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Waseda University.
