Fernando of Antequera - Fernando of Antequera

…reigned 1412-16. A member of the Castilian royal family, he was nicknamed Fernando of Antequera because he recaptured Antequera from the Kingdom of Granada while serving as regency for King John II of Castile. He was chosen as the heir to the throne by the Council of Representatives of the United Kingdom of Aragon after the extinction of the monarchy.
