The name of a part of the Noh play "Reed Cutting." It is the scene in which the reed seller (shite) paints a picture of the scenery of Mitsu Beach and performs the hat dance. This part is often performed separately as a dance, solo recitation, or a single tune. It is an example of incorporating the art of the town into Noh.
