Red pine - Red festival

...The flowers grow in spikes, but the rachis is short, about 3-4 cm long, and slightly skewed to one side. Closely related species include the red-flowered P. indica L., native to India and Southeast Asia, and the white-flowered P. zeylanica L., both of which are cultivated for decorative purposes, just like the blue pine.
