Aimoto Bridge - Aimotobashi

...This refers to the Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni (Yamaguchi Prefecture), Saruhashi Bridge in Kai (Yamanashi Prefecture), and Aimoto Bridge in Kurobe (Toyama Prefecture), which have been cited as being particularly structurally unusual among Japan's old bridges. There is also a theory that Kiso's Kakehashi or Iya's Kazurahashi (Tokushima Prefecture) should be substituted for Aimotohashi, but Kakehashi is a bridge made of planks stretched along steep cliffs, and structurally it does not have the same distinctive features as the bridges mentioned above.
