...The back of the body is reddish brown or gray brown, the sides are slightly lighter, and there are no white markings, but black hair grows from the top of the head to the back. There is also the greater chevrotain, T. napu (English name: larger chevrotain), which is very similar to the previous species in terms of distribution and body color. It is large, and there is a record of one surviving 14 years in captivity.
