…The female writer Amalia Guglielminetti (1881-1941), who also studied under Graf at the University of Turin, wrote novels in the style of D'Annunzio. Other students of Graf's included the poet Francesco Pastonchi (1877-1953), the novelist Massimo Bontenpelli (1878-1960), and the literary historian Enrico Thovez (1869-1925). Graf is therefore often compared to G. Carducci, professor at the University of Bologna and a poet who won the Nobel Prize in Literature. …
