In addition to the genus Sarracenia, the Sarraceniaceae family includes Darlingtonia californica Torr., a genus with one species native to California and Oregon in the United States, and Heliamphora, a genus of about 10 species native to Guiana and Venezuela in South America. All are carnivorous plants with bottle cotyledons.
