An affiliated organization of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association for young and middle-aged men. Its official name was the Great Japan Rule Assistance Association (Yokuso). As the Imperial Rule Assistance Association was recognized as a public association (non-political organization) under Article 3 of the Public Order Police Law and failed to mobilize national political power, it was formed on January 16, 1942 as a practical unit for the Imperial Rule Assistance Movement, led by Muto Akira, Director of the Military Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of the Army, who was inspired by the Nazi SS. Under the national organization, prefectures, counties, cities, wards, towns, and villages were organized, and it was emphasized that it was an organization of comrades made up of young and middle-aged men aged 21 and over.
