A book written by Chinese scholar Ying Shao (date of birth and death unknown) at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It consists of 10 or 31 volumes. Ying Shao was from Nandun, Runan County (Henan Province). He came from a famous family of government officials. The origin of the book's title is recorded in the "Preface to the General Meaning of Manners and Customs." The book's contents are wide-ranging, but its core is that it shows how the Han Dynasty was the greatest of all time in an era of great destruction and chaos in the royal family, and it stands on the fundamental principle of ritual and music, "changing the wind and changing the customs," corrects the excesses of ritualism, and seeks a world of order as it should be.
