Hisham's Palace : The remains of a palace in the northern part of the Palestinian city of Jericho. It was built as a winter residence for the Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik, but collapsed in an earthquake soon after. The well-preserved mosaics on the floor, including the "Tree of Life," remain. 《Hisham's Palace》パレスチナ地方の都市エリコの北部にある宮殿跡。ウマイヤ朝のカリフ、アブドゥル＝マリクの冬の離宮として建造されたが、間もなく地震で倒壊。「生命の木」をはじめとする保存状態の良い床面のモザイクが残っている。
