Kannoukohonroku - Record of the Encouragement of Agriculture

This is a local book from the mid-Edo period. The author was Mao Tokiharu from Sasayama, Tanba Province (Tanba Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture). It was published in 1725 (Kyoho 10) and consists of two volumes. The first volume contains three sections: the examination of village affairs, land assignment and crop training, and inspection and collection. The second volume contains seven sections: the collection of annual taxes, land survey specifications, land construction, forest and bamboo planting, public affairs lawsuits, day-to-day concerns of officials, and field settlement. It provides a detailed and detailed explanation of how to govern the local area. In addition, the beginning of this book contains two prefaces by Komiyama Masayo and Taira no Koreaki (a Confucian scholar with the pen name Shinozaki Tokai), the authors of "Den'en Ruisetsu," another local book. It is included in the 4th volume of "Nihon Keizai Taiten" and the 5th volume of "Nihon Keizai Sosho."

江戸中期の地方書(じかたしょ)。著者は丹波(たんば)国篠山(ささやま)（兵庫県丹波篠山市）の万尾時春(まおときはる)。1725年（享保10）に刊行され、上下2巻よりなる。上巻には、郷村諸事吟味(ぎんみ)之事、土地位付(くらいづけ)并(ならびに)作物仕付(しつけ)之事、検見(けみ)并取箇付(とりかづけ)之事の3項が、下巻には、年貢(ねんぐ)収納之事、検地仕様之事、地普請(じぶしん)之事、山林竹木仕立様之事、公事(くじ)訴訟之事、役人平日心掛之事、井田(せいでん)和解之事の7項がそれぞれ収められて、詳細かつていねいな地方支配心得方が説示されている。なお、本書冒頭部分には、同じく地方書の一つである『田園類説』の著者小宮山昌世(こみやましょうせい)と平維章(たいらのこれあき)（儒者、号は篠崎東海(しのざきとうかい)）の序2編が付されている。『日本経済大典』第4巻、『日本経済叢書(そうしょ)』第5巻所収。
