Kyoto City Yamashina Yamashina A Tendai sect temple in Kita-Kayama Kawaramachi, the ward. Its mountain name is Kachozan. It was founded by Hensho in 869, the 11th year of the Jogan era, on the occasion of the birth of Emperor Yozei. 京都市山科やましな区北花山河原町にある天台宗の寺。山号は華頂山。陽成天皇の出産に際して、貞観11年（869）遍昭が開創。後年、藤原兼家らの策謀によって、花山天皇はこの寺で出家した。花山寺。がんぎょうじ。
