The legend of Umewaka

...A type of Kabuki and Bunraku puppet theater. It refers to a group of works that deal with the Umewaka legend, originating from the Noh play "Sumidagawa." It is unclear what material Kanze Genga used to create the Noh play "Sumidagawa."
