Zetland

…An archipelago located in the northeast coast of Scotland, near 60° north latitude. The name means "protruding land" in Old Norse, and was officially called Zetland until 1974. It is a long and narrow archipelago stretching about 150 km from north to south, and is made up of the main island of Mainland, as well as about 100 other islands, including Hjell, Unst, and Fetlar. More than 80% of the islands are uninhabited, with a total area of ​​1,427 km2 and a population of 23,000 (1995).
