...The antennae are four segments, with the two distal segments thread-like and the two proximal segments of similar thickness. The Lyctocoris beneficus is about 3.5 mm long. It is dark brown and lives on rice straw and other stalks. It is a natural enemy of lepidopteran larvae (such as rice stem crickets) and is found in Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
