strikebreaker

...the act of workers working in a factory or business that is on strike, or the actions of those workers, that diminish the effect of the strike. Also called scab (originally American), strikebreaker or blackleg is the more common term in the UK. Employers may force non-strikers or hired unemployed workers to work in order to continue production or business, or to break up the strike.
