Euplectellidae

…general term for marine sponges of the Euplectellidae family of the class Hexactinellidae. A pair of small shrimp ( Spongicola ), usually male and female, are usually housed in the stomach cavity of this sponge, and since this is where they live their whole lives, the shrimp are given the name Kairo Do-ken, which means that they grow old together and are buried together when they die.
