Chori

...The head and face are covered during religious ceremonies and weddings, and it is worn over the head during strenuous labor. Under the sari, a petticoat with strings and a tight-fitting shirt-like short top called a chori are worn. The end of the cloth that covers the shoulders and head is called a pallu, and is decorated with various patterns and embroidery. It is used not only for decoration but also for wrapping rice and tying keys to it.
