A term used in Noh. An abbreviation of "Ro-chukan-no-ji", a type of musical phrase (called "ji") that is the basis for the melody and rhythm of the flute (Noh flute). It consists of four phrases with different pitches and melodies, called "Ro-chu-kan-kan-kan". Although there are minor differences, it is used in many dances such as "Jo-no-mai", "Shin-no-jo-no-mai", "Naka-no-mai", "Tenyo-no-mai", "Hayamai", "Otoko-mai", "Kami-mai", "Kyu-no-mai" and "Ha-no-mai". 能の用語。笛(能管)の旋律やリズムの母体となる楽句(〈地〉という)の一種である〈呂中干ノ地〉の略称。〈呂・中・干・干ノ中〉と呼称する音高や旋律の異なる4句から成る。細部の違いはあるが,〈序ノ舞〉〈真ノ序ノ舞〉〈中ノ舞〉〈天女ノ舞〉〈早舞(はやまい)〉〈男舞〉〈神舞〉〈急ノ舞〉〈破ノ舞〉など多くの舞事(まいごと)に用いられる。表に,一噌(いつそう)流の〈中ノ舞〉の〈呂中干ノ地〉を唱歌(しようが)で示す。
