A book on waka poetry from the Muromachi period written by Tono Tsuneyori. There is no colophon indicating its creation, but based on the date attached to the article, it is estimated to have been created around 1456 (Kosho 2). It is a record of what Tono Tsuneyori heard from his teachers and friends, including Takataka. The contents include secret teachings necessary for interpreting waka poetry, such as explanations of words and biographies of poets, as well as many historical facts such as how to write on kaishi and tanzaku, making it an important resource for conveying the waka studies of the time. 室町時代の歌論書。東常縁（とうのつねより）著。成立を示す奥書などはないが，記事に付された年月日から，1456年(康正2)ころ成立したと推定される。東常縁が，尭孝をはじめとする師友より聞き伝えたことを記録した聞書。内容は，語句の説明や歌人の伝記といった歌の解釈に必要な秘伝のほか，懐紙や短冊の書き方などの故実も多く，当時の歌学を伝える資料として重要である。【小高道子】
