A collection of haikai linked verses. Written by Matsunaga Teitoku and others. Published in 1655 (Meireki 1). Hosted by Arima Yusen in January 1653, Teitoku was the guest of honor, and composed by eight people: Masaaki (Sadamuro), Kigin, Ansei, Karai, Masanobu, and Shuhitsu Nagahisa. The book is titled after Teitoku's opening verse, "Benbai yakano Ginkō no karakoromo." This work is a representative linked verse work that shows the pinnacle of Teimon haikai, and was widely circulated and reprinted many times, but Danrin pointed out its closeness to linked verse and criticized it for lacking haikai qualities.
