Kazuo Ishikawa
1939－
Born on January 14, 1939. Arrested and indicted as a suspect in the kidnapping and murder of a high school girl in Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture (Sayama Case) in 1963. He claimed he was innocent, but in 1977 the Supreme Court upheld his life sentence. He was released on parole in 1995. He continues to request a retrial. Originally from Saitama Prefecture.
