[1] A shrine in Kibitsu, Okayama City. Formerly a Kanpei-chusha. The deity worshipped is O-Kibitsuhiko -no- Mikoto and his family. In ancient times, the deity was worshipped as the clan deity of the Kibi clan, who ruled the Kibi region, and was worshipped as a pioneering deity. The main hall and worship hall were rebuilt by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu in 1425 and designated as national treasures, and are known as Kibitsu-zukuri. The Okamadono (Kamanari Ceremony) in the precincts is also famous for the Kamanari Ceremony in Ueda Akinari's "Tales of Moon and Moon." [一] 岡山市吉備津にある神社。旧官幣中社。祭神は大吉備津彦命(おおきびつひこのみこと)とその一族。古代、吉備地方を支配した吉備氏の氏神で開拓神として信仰された。本殿、拝殿は応永三二年（一四二五）足利義満の再建で国宝に指定され、吉備津造として知られる。また境内の御釜殿は上田秋成の「雨月物語」の釜鳴神事で有名。吉備津の御釜祓い（釜鳴の神事）が行なわれる。吉備国総鎮守。備中国一の宮。吉備津宮。[二] 広島県福山市にある神社。旧国幣小社。祭神は大吉備津彦命、孝霊天皇ほか。大同元年（八〇六）備中国の吉備津神社を勧請(かんじょう)。備後国一の宮。吉備津宮。一宮(いっきゅう)さん。
