The white-faced sparrowhawk, Phoeniculus bollei , has a red bill, a white head, and the rest of the body is glossy dark green or dark purple. The long-tailed sparrowhawk, P. castaneiceps , has a grey-black, less-curved bill, a brown head, and the rest of the body is glossy dark green-blue or dark purple.
