Family politics

...Family policy has a comprehensive character with family issues at its core, and its scope is so broad that it is difficult to systematize it. The term family policy, or Familienpolitik, was used in Germany as early as 1918 in connection with population policy. Since the 1960s, it has been given importance in research and policy in European countries, primarily West Germany, but it has yet to be fully systematized in any country.
