Throat - Throat

Japanese:
Throat - Throat
It is a common term that cannot be clearly defined in anatomy. One refers to the front of the neck, roughly corresponding to the larynx. The glottis, which produces sound, is located in the center of the larynx. It is also here that foreign objects accidentally inhaled by children can get stuck and cause choking. The front of the larynx is protected by the shield-like thyroid cartilage, which can be felt with the hand. In adult men, the upper midline of this cartilage protrudes greatly and forms the Adam's apple. It is also called Adam's apple, and this comes from the legend that when Adam ate the forbidden fruit (an apple), he was so surprised when God reprimanded him that half the fruit got stuck in his throat, causing it to swell up.
