This paper is paper that was once sold commercially as paper and has since been printed or processed and has since fulfilled its intended purpose, and is used as the raw material for recycled paper pulp. There are as many types of recycled paper as there are types of paper, but statistically they are classified as shown in the table below. Japan's paper recovery rate is quite high in the world (51.5% in 1995, Germany 66.5%, Netherlands 65.7%, Austria 65.3%, Sweden 58.1%, South Korea 55.7%), and the recovery rate of newspapers in particular is high, and they are utilized as a valuable resource. The collected recycled paper is mixed with a large amount of water and vigorously stirred, and the loose fibers are turned into pulp again.
