[Died] September 12, 1876. Poet from Graz, Austria. Real name Anton Alexander, Graf von Auersperg. Representative of the political poetry movement "Early March Term". Studied law in Vienna, and was active as a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly and the Austrian House of Lords. Influenced by Uhland. His poetry collections include "The Last Knight" (Der letzte Ritter) (1830).

Grün, Max von der

Born May 25, 1926 in Bayreuth. German novelist. Served in the army during World War II and was taken prisoner. After returning to Germany, he became a miner. His debut novel, Irrlicht und Feuer (1963), which depicts the life of a miner, became a bestseller, and he began his career as a writer. He has also written a TV drama.
