[1] A bridge over the Kyobashi River in Chuo Ward, Tokyo. It connects Kyobashi 3-chome and Ginza 1-chome. In the Edo period, it was the first bridge on the Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido Road that began at Nihonbashi and continued on to Kyoto, hence the name. There was a vegetable market on both sides of the bridge. It became an overpass when the Kyobashi River was filled in. Senryo Bridge.
