Conquest of the Emishi

Japanese: 蝦夷征伐 - えぞせいばつ
Conquest of the Emishi

...The "Ezo Management" was the process of eliminating resistance, conquering them, and incorporating them under the rule of a unified state. Traditionally, this has been understood as the "Ezo Conquest," but this is not an appropriate definition of the nature of the unification of an area that covers more than half of the Japanese archipelago. It would be more appropriate to view it as the "Ezo Management War" from the perspective of an ancient national unification war.
