Eju - Eju

...It consists of 10 volumes and is also called the "Jukan Sho" or "Sonyo Sho." The author is said to be either Byodobo Eigen or Katsujobo Eju, and there are no handwritten copies, all are transcriptions. The oldest is the Daigoji version, estimated to be from 1193 (Kenkyu 4), followed by the Narutaki Jorakuin version (1226), and rare versions include the Koyasan Shinbessho Entsuji version (1309-10), the Daigoji version of the Illustrated Illustrations (transcribed by Hoken, 1230), the Tokyo National Museum version, and the Koyasan Seinanin version (mid- to late Kamakura period).
